PGF is one of Australia and New Zealand’s longest standing and best known names in golf equipment. For over 78 years, our brands have provided professional, club and social golfers with market leading product technology and design features to help them to develop and improve their game.
We are proud of our history in developing golf equipment with a reputation for quality, value and performance on the course. It’s a reputation based on many years of experience and innovation that has seen the development of a number of world first designs and leading professional players being associated with PGF.
PGF brands including Status, Optima, Slammer, Lady Futura and Southpaw are recognised for their outstanding performance, playability and price. The Optima golf ball in particular has become one of the most popular and regarded golf balls on the Australian club golf market, delivering parallel performance to often higher priced international golf ball brands.

Our people
PGF is owned and run by golfers, continuing a tradition of people who know the game, the golfer and how to deliver what they expect and need.
Our four directors are all former representative golfers. Managing Director Brett Tucker played representative golf for two decades, was a regional amateur champion and has over 25 years of experience in the golf industry. All of our sales team are experienced golfers who enjoy every opportunity to play and to discuss the game with our retailers and their customers.
Our ambassadors program brings together some well known Australian and New Zealand players of PGF products who share a passion for the game. They are like many who choose to play with one the game’s own legendary names.
We love what we do. We are focused on working with our suppliers and sales network to bring a better offer to our customers, the golfer.
